B1G TV 2015-16 Schedule Released


ROSEMONT, Ill. – The 2015-16 Big Ten hockey season will feature an extensive slate of television coverage, with more than 60 total games.The lineup is highlighted by a package of at least 22 national broadcasts to be carried on BTN, with another six on ESPNU and ESPNEWS, along with an additional 33 games to be carried on FOX Sports Regional Networks, American Sports Network and CN900.

BTN will broadcast at least 22 games with the first taking place on Friday, Dec. 11, when Michigan hosts Minnesota at 7 p.m. ET. Highlighting the BTN regular season schedule will be the Super Saturday - College Hoops & Hockey doubleheader on Jan. 30, when Michigan and Penn State will meet at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The teams will play a men’s basketball game at noon, followed by a hockey matchup at 7 p.m.

BTN will also provide live coverage of all five games from the 2016 Big Ten Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament, scheduled for March 17-19 at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn. Every televised game can be streamed nation-wide via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on BTN2Go, BTN’s digital extension.
ESPN, home of the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Championship, will televise an additional six contests, beginning on Saturday, Dec. 5, when Minnesota hosts Ohio State. Faceoff for that game is scheduled for 8 p.m. on ESPNEWS. ESPN will conclude its slate of Big Ten games on Friday, March 11, when Minnesota hosts Wisconsin at 8 p.m. on ESPNEWS. All games televised on an ESPN network will also be available on WatchESPN.
FOX Sports Regional Networks will broadcast at least an additional 22 games, with contests appearing on FS Detroit, FS North and SportsTime Ohio. Coverage begins in October and concludes when Michigan State plays host to Minnesota on Friday, March 4.

American Sports Network will broadcast at least three Big Ten games, beginning with Wisconsin hosting Denver on Nov. 20, while CN900 has eight games slated, beginning with Michigan State playing host to Michigan Tech on Nov. 21. All games broadcast by FOX Sports Regional Networks, American Sports Network, or CN900 can also be streamed live via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on BTN2Go.
